Sound Synthesis Club
Sound Synthesis Club is now online. The Sound Synthesis Club founded by yours truly in 2007 in Silicon Valley at Audience Inc with my Scientists and Engineers colleagues, who were designers of technologies for legendaries companies such as: Emu-Systems, Alesis, Digidesign, Apple, Tascam, Lucas Films, Creative and Waves among others - has now a portal on the web to communicate, organize our events and broadcast our ideas.
In the past, the Sound Synthesis Club met once a months to discuss all aspects of sound synthesis technologies. The discussions and presentations were conducted for both internal Guest Speakers and external Guest Speakers. Among the external Guest Speakers we had the honor of having Dr. John Chowning - Father of Frequency Modulation Sound Synthesis Technology - from Stanford University. Nowadays the Sound Synthesis Club will meet virtually and physically and will continue its discussions and presentations. It is an honor for us to announce that legendary designer Tom Oberheim has accepted our invitation as a Guest Speaker to the Club.
The Sound Synthesis Club is now a space not only for scientists, engineers and designers but also a space for Artists, Producers and Performers. A community that links designers of sound synthesis technologies with users of them.
Dr. Robert Moog has been a source of inspiration to all of us at the Sound Synthesis Club - our first meeting was about his work and legacy.
